Travel Day Part 2

The flight from Seattle to Maui seemed eternal. We were spoiled by the "comfort zone" seats on our flight to Seattle. Going to Maui we were wedged into the rear of the plane like sardines.
We were thankful for a safe and uneventful flight, even if it felt like a practice in contortion and compression.  When we landed we had to wait on the plane for an extra 20 minutes or so because all the gates were full. Finally standing up was sweet relief.

Travel day finally ended with a bath and early bedtime by Maui standards.  We were in bed by 7:30 pm Maui time, which was 12:30 am Oatmeal Creek time. Grateful for safe travels and very happy with our hotel. The weather is perfect and so glad to finally be here.
