We opted instead to take the trolley to Whaler's Village for lunch and shopping. Then back to the hotel for some pool time and a light supper before bed. We did manage to stay up later-8:30.
Walking down to the bus stop. About 200 yards from the hotel entrance. It is adjacent to a golf course. At the bus stop. Standing room only for a while.

Taco Cat photo opportunity. We had lunch at Leilani's on the Beach. Ricky had sashimi.
Great lunch. Best meal of the trip so far.
Flowers on my salad. 🥰. I left Ricky at the restaurant while I explored and went shopping. He had Hula Pie while I was gone, which he identified as the best ice cream dessert ever.
I checked in on The Westin, which is where we stayed last year. They have a major remodel going on right now.
Replica whale skeleton.
Waiting for the trolley back to the hotel.
