Pool Day at the Hyatt Regency

Sunday was a lazy day by the pool. We didn't leave the resort. We ate breakfast and dinner at the Regency Club which is included with our room. Lunch was at the poolside bar and grill, Umalu. I'm posting pictures I took during the day around the property and at the pool. 🤗
Taco Cat got leied. 😁 I never dreamed how much trouble I would be in for packing my big insulated water cup without telling Ricky. He didn't bring his and is miffed about it. I'm sure there will be payback. LOl.
 View from our balcony.
View from our balcony looking south.

View from our balcony looking north.

African black-footed penguins live in the lobby with their pond and little penguin houses. They are enclosed by a low rock wall. The lobby is open air. I don't see how they keep them contained there. They seem content. Ricky heard them braying like donkeys early this morning.
At the pool.

I think this is a mangrove tree.
 Ivy with large leaves.
 Ground cover with yellow flowers.
The hotel is filled with oriental decorations and artifacts.
 Large ferns.

 Pineapples.
These are so brightly colored they don't look real.
The orchids in the lobby are breathtakingly beautiful.
There are two exotic birds living in the lobby. This is Niko, a grey parrot. He was wolf whistling the passersby.
Swan pool. I hope to get a better picture later.
I revisited the yellow hut where I saw the turtles last year. I didn't see any turtles yet.
This couple overturned their canoe. The lifeguard showed up to help.

The warning flag is out. The wave action is pretty vigorous.
The Marilyn Monroe spa on the property. I hope to visit later.

Ricky and Taco Cat hanging at the pool.
Waterfalls at the pool.

I'm not married to a cone head. 🤗 Snuff can under the cap.
 Koi fish.
Mosaic in the lobby.
Not sure how I feel about red cheese. The color made it hard to eat.
Sunset as viewed from our balcony.  The sea turned rose colored momentarily. It was beautiful.
