The Royal Marine Hotel

The Royal Marine Hotel was built in the 1800's and sits on Dublin Bay in Dun Laoghaire. Laurel and Hardy were some of their famous guests.

• Round towers with mounted cannon were built along the bay in fear of an invasion by Napoleon. He didn't attack the bay after all. You can see the cannon atop this one.
