Edinburgh Castle

This morning we did a walking tour of the castle with a guide. It was raining, and there was a huge crowd there. We hit the high points only as Ricky's knee gave out after the hike up the steep hill.
Huge sword in the Great Hall
We stood in a long line to see the crown jewels and the Stone of Destiny. They would not allow phones or cameras inside so I didn't get a photo. 😕 The guide said that part of Robert the Bruce's crown had been worked into the crown.  Lots of history in that crown room!
View of the castle once we got up the hill. It was quite a hike in the rain.

St. Margaret's Chapel. Purported to be the oldest building in Edinburgh, built in 1100's. It's on the castle grounds.
