We have enjoyed time on the lanai every morning. I'm keeping my morning ritual with espresso and banana bread.
It was in the 60s, windy, and raining this morning. We're in a flood watch today.
Ironically, my bucket list thing is to see the northern lights. I'm in Hawaii in the rain and folks back home are posting pictures of the northern lights on fb. 😆

Ricky caught a nap on the couch in the Club Lounge after breakfast while I stood guard.
The sun came out and we headed to Kuilima Cove and the Beach Club to enjoy the ocean waves.
Umbrellas, loungers, and towels were courtesy of the resort.
The sand was deep and soft making walking a challenge for me.
We left the beach and walked through the hotel to the pool on the other side about 11:30. Ricky enjoyed the water briefly before the dj started the afternoon festivities.
The music was so loud we retreated to our room for some respite.
