I'm not knowledgeable on the topic of Electronic Dance Music, so when I learned the Palm Tree Music Festival was happening here on May 10-11, I didn't really know what to expect. I never heard of Zedd or Kygo before this trip. 

A lot of people descended on the resort Friday afternoon. This DJ kept the loud hypnotic music blaring at the pool all afternoon.  

The crowd was very entertaining.

The OluKai footwear company hosted a modified corn hole toss contest. People lined up to toss a shoe onto an inclined board, competing to win some sandals. 

Lots of young people with naked butt cheeks drinking shots and getting down with the Never Ending Music. (Maybe doing some ecstasy too, IDK.) 🥳😳🤙

The music at the pool stopped at 5 pm when the festival gates opened at the Stable Lawns, just across the way. Thankfully the amplifiers and stage were pointed away from the resort so we had a peaceful night. 

A sampler of desserts - lilikoi tart, tiramasu, and chocolate mousse. We have enjoyed our Club Lounge access. 

I tried to get a sunset picture, but the clouds had other plans. Beautiful nonetheless.
