Today has been a nice day to kick back, slow down, and just enjoy the onboard experience.
The ship is beautiful. Today is the Neptune's first birthday and everyone raised a glass in toast to the occasion.
The ship is Scandinavian in design and decoration and everything feels brand new. The staff keep it immaculately cleaned. Calm music soothes all the commonplaces creating a lovely ambient atmosphere.
The ship is filled with original art and interesting exhibits and decorations. I took myself on a delightful little tour today.
Our view this morning as we sail from Macedonia to Turkey.
Breakfast at the World Cafe
Next stop Explorer's Lounge to enjoy the view from the bow of the ship.
We sailed past several monasteries.
When the Explorer's Lounge got too loud, we migrated to a quieter spot.
A signed woodcut by Edvard Munch. "Old Fisherman." There are several works of art by Munch on board.

The stairwells are decorated with replicas of the Bayeux Tapestry. Each landing has a different scene.
I was intrigued by the copper machine in the background. It is an antique coffee maker, just for decoration.
