Ready or Not, Here We Come

 Red Rover, Red Rover, let us come over! Kauai here we come!

We had a good enough night at the Doubletree. I give it about 3 stars. Ricky woke up at 3:15, 5:15 Texas time. His usual wake up drill. I set my alarm for 5:45 but woke up at 5:15. Ricky worked the coffee pot skillfully, and after some bitter caffeine we got up and out of our room. 

We caught the shuttle after a short wait and were at the airport in a flash. The drivers yesterday and today drove really fast! Fast enough to toss the suitcases out of the luggage rack. 

We zipped through security and found our gate with 2 hours to spare. 

Bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on the way!

Breakfast at the Tap and Pour. They didn't have coffee, so I had breakfast tea with my veggie taco. It was quite good for airport food. Another cup of coffee would have been nice though. 

Gate 27, San Jose to Lihue Airport. We got Pre-Cleared by Southwest for covid travel requirements.  We read the instructions right and had our ducks in a row, so it was easy peasy!

                             Good to go!
